How 33A started

Helping his Interaction Design and Creative Communication students at Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole develop concepts for companies using emerging technology Mike developed cards and a workshop process. Seeing the need of businesses to understand and apply AI Mike created the AI-Design Sprint using cards and paper and a design process. It was launched at Copenhagen Techfestival in the fall 2017 and a team was formed, 33A, to bring it to you.

Mike Brandt, Co-Founder

My expertise is design tools and design processes, I enable technology. I’m the author of the book “Forget The Product. Forget The Idea. Forget The Campaign.” on business innovation, design tools, and design processes. Because of the much interest I spoke at business conferences throughout Europe and led workshops in companies developing with teams technology concepts for their companies. For four years I lectured full time on topics about emerging technology at places of higher education, like Erhvervsakademi Sjælland, Erhversakademiet Lillebælt, and Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole. I started out as Communications Designer in roles of Art Director and Creative Director where I worked with design processes in teams. All this led me to develop the AI-Design Sprint to help businesses in understanding and applying AI.
